For a leading international company in Zeebrugge, specialized in earthmoving machinery, we are looking for a Fitter to install optional equipment on excavators.
Job Description:
- As a fitter, you’ll be part of the option assembly team and will be responsible for installing additional components and accessories on new excavators. These are customer-specific modifications, including:
- Additional lighting, cameras, and safety systems
- Hose rupture protection and quick couplers
- Extra hydraulic lines and functions
- Cab options such as air conditioning units or protective grilles
- Installation of GPS systems, tiltrotators, and bucket couplers
- You will work based on technical drawings or checklists and ensure that each machine is delivered perfectly and fully customized to the client's specifications.
Our offer for you
- 40-hour workweek
- No weekend work
- Day shift: 08:00 – 16:50
- ADV (reduction of working time) not paid
- Hourly wage: €19.5547
- Work at two different sites in Zeebrugge

Requirements – What are we looking for?
- Technical education or experience in mechanics, electromechanics, or automotive technology
- Experience as a fitter or technician is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Accurate and independent working style
- A team player with a hands-on mentality
- You work in a safe and organized manner at all times
